Privacy Policy

Overview

Soft Hex Study is a personal study workspace. We collect the minimum information needed to run your account and sync your subjects, flashcards and notes across devices. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Information we collect

• Account details: your email address and an encrypted password hash, handled by our authentication provider.
• Study content: the subjects, decks, flashcards, review history and notes you create.
• Feedback you send: your message plus the app version and basic device information (device type, operating system, browser, screen size, language, timezone) shown to you before you submit.
• Technical logs: limited error and request logs used to keep the app working.

How we use it

We use your information to authenticate you, store and sync your study content, schedule spaced-repetition reviews, respond to feedback, and diagnose crashes or bugs. That is all.

Storage and security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure and transmitted over HTTPS. Row-level security rules mean each account can only read and write its own records. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

Sharing

We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to operate the app (hosting, database and authentication). We do not share your study content with third parties for marketing.

Your choices

• Edit or delete any subject, deck, card or note at any time from inside the app.
• Request full account deletion by sending a message through Settings → Send feedback; we remove your account and content within 30 days.
• Use the app without giving us any information beyond your email address.

Children

Soft Hex Study is intended for students aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and surface a notice in the app.
